	Die aktuellste Entwicklung der Firma IDENCOM im Bereich Fingerabdruckerkennungs-Module ist das Produkt BioKey® 3000, ein stand-alone Modul, das unter der Berücksichtigung von VdS-Zertifizierungsrichtlinien entwickelt wurde. Dieses Modul arbeitet batteriebetrieben, wodurch eine teure und aufwändige Verkabelung entfällt. Der laufende Betrieb gestaltet sich dadurch ebenfalls sehr preiswert, es werden lediglich 2-4 gängige Batterien benötigt, die im normalen Betrieb (mehr als 30.000 Öffnungen) ca. 2 Jahre ausreichen. Ein weiterer Vorteil des BioKey® 3000-Moduls ist seine geringe Größe (26 mm x 67 mm), wodurch es ohne großen Aufwand in nahezu jeden erhältlichen Türbeschlag eingebaut werden kann. Eine wichtige VdS-Anforderung wird dadurch erfüllt, dass Sensor und Auswertungseinheit durch längere Kabel örtlich weiter voneinander getrennt werden können, als es bisher der Fall war. Dies ist vor allem für die Anwendungsbereiche Alarmanlagen, Einbruchsmelder sowie Tresore von zentraler Bedeutung. Im BioKey® 3000-Modul kommt die wesentlich verbesserte BioKey® Erkennungs-Software zum Einsatz. Diese kann die Erkennungsrate um 200% - 300% steigern, wie intensive statistische Tests nachgewiesen haben. Das Modul ist für eine breite Anwendung besonders gut geeignet, was sich in der preislichen Attraktivität von BioKey® 3000 auswirkt.

E-Passport solution at CeBIT 2004 (01.04.2004 / 12.47)



	IDENCOM presented its e-passport solution with very great success at its booth at CeBIT. Because of the actual relation this topic was of very great interest for many visitors, above all for government representatives. The IDENCOM solution is an ICAO compliant product for the processing of Machine Readable Documents (MRD) like passports and visa based on the biometrical / RFID technology of IDENCOM. It is possible to store a fingerprint as well as a facial image on the RFID chip inside the document with the IDENCOM core software. The information could then be read from the document with a Philips RFID Reader and compared with the real fingerprint. The important features are as follows: - Smart MX RFID chip with 72 Kbyte memory - Operating system for Smart MX RFID chip - Inlay/chip/antennae integrated in passport/visa - 2 fingerprint images compressed in JPFEG format - facial image compressed in JPEG format - ICAO compliant

	IDENCOM AG presents you our new stand-alone fingerprint identification module BioKey® 2002. The BioKey® 2002 module supports different sensors like line-sensor of ATMEL, an optical sensor of POLAROID as well as CMOS sensor of INFINEON. Thus we succeeded in proving the sensor independence of the product. From practical experience of many years we attach particular importance on robustness, like insensitivity in relation to contamination, dry or damp fingers, scratching firmness, on user friendliness, simple integrableness as well as particularly on recognition security. The module is suitable in particular for admission controls, alarm installations and proximity card reader.
