Fingerprint
templates according to the DIN V66400 standard use only
161 byte per template and are therefore well-suited
for any application. An important step towards the practical
use of biometrics has been taken. |
Through
its sensor-neutral concept, IDENCOM is capable of swiftly
incorporating the best sensor technologies, regarding
both quality and cost-performance ratio, into its products.
Due to their robustness, for example their self-cleaning
features and the absence of latent fingerprints, IDENCOM
particularly recommends line sensors to its customers. |
| Enrolment Concept, Super-Template |
The
quality of the reference templates plays a key role
in any fingerprint recognition system. Therefore, IDENCOM
has developed the “Super-Template”, which
combines three fingerprints to form one reference template.
Only reliable minutiae will be used for the Super-Template,
thus ensuring highest recognition performance. The user
is guided through the enrolment procedure by a graphical
user interface. |
